Learn English plan for adults, built around your level
You studied English at school, you can read emails, but meetings and fast conversations still feel out of reach. This prompt makes your todo.is agent plan the gap: the tenses and phrasal verbs you actually need, daily listening from real accents, and a short writing task each day that it corrects for you.
The prompt
- I want a plan to learn English. My level is about [CEFR LEVEL] and my native language is [NATIVE LANGUAGE]. I need English for [GOAL] in [TIME FRAME]. I can study [TIME PER DAY] a day. Focus on what speakers of my language usually get wrong, the phrasal verbs and collocations I need for my goal, and listening to [ACCENT] English. Each day give me a 10-minute listening task with a link, 6 useful phrases and a 3-sentence writing task. Correct my writing when I send it, explain each mistake in one line, and keep a list of my repeated mistakes. Send the plan as an Excel file by email and message me every weekday at 8:00 on WhatsApp with the day's task.
What to change
- [CEFR LEVEL]: A1 to C1, or describe it: "I understand films with subtitles but freeze when speaking".
- [NATIVE LANGUAGE]: E.g. "Portuguese" or "Arabic". The plan targets the typical mistakes from your language.
- [GOAL]: E.g. "job interviews", "meetings at work", "IELTS 7", "moving to Canada".
- [TIME FRAME]: E.g. "3 months".
- [TIME PER DAY]: E.g. "30 minutes".
- [ACCENT]: E.g. "American", "British", "Australian" or "a mix".

- • Conditionals for suggestions: If we moved the deadline, we could…
- • Polite softeners: Could we…? I was wondering if… I'm not sure that works for us.
- • Collocations: make a decision, do research, take notes, raise a concern
- Month 3: think on your feet

Tips for a better result
- Say your native language. The most useful fixes are the ones your language causes, not a generic grammar list.
- Learn phrasal verbs in context, by topic, not alphabetically. "Meeting verbs" stick better than a list of 200.
- Shadowing works: play a sentence, pause, say it with the same rhythm. Five minutes a day helps pronunciation fast.
- Ask your agent to send the day's phrases as an MP3 so you can hear them before you say them.
learn English plan: FAQ
- How long does it take to go from B1 to B2? Usually around 150 to 250 hours of study and practice. At 30 to 45 minutes a day, that is roughly 6 to 12 months.
- What is the best way to learn English as an adult? Short daily practice, a clear goal and lots of listening to real speech. Writing and speaking with feedback make the biggest difference after B1.
- Can it prepare me for IELTS or TOEFL? Yes. Put the exam and target score as your goal, and the plan adds timed practice for each section.
- Does my agent remember my mistakes? Yes. It keeps your list of repeated mistakes and uses it to pick review tasks in later weeks.
