Quiz generator: a ready-to-print quiz with an answer key
Writing good quiz questions is slow, and the hard part is wrong answers that are believable. Give your todo.is agent a chapter, your notes or just a topic and a grade level, and this prompt gets you a balanced quiz with plausible distractors, a separate answer key that explains each answer, and a version you can paste into Google Forms.
The prompt
- Make a quiz on [TOPIC OR ATTACHED FILE] for [AUDIENCE]. I want [NUMBER AND TYPES OF QUESTIONS]. Mix easy recall with questions that need understanding or applying the idea, about 40% easy, 40% medium, 20% hard. For multiple choice, use 4 options with believable wrong answers based on common misconceptions, no "all of the above", and vary the position of the right answer. Use only facts from the material I gave, or say where a fact comes from. Give me a Word file with the quiz ready to print, a separate answer key that explains each answer in one sentence, and a CSV I can paste into [QUIZ TOOL]. Email them to me.

How to do it with todo.is
- Attach your material or name the topic, then fill in the audience and the questions you want.
- Paste the to-do on the Today screen in todo.is, or send it to your agent on WhatsApp or Telegram.
- You get a printable Word quiz, an answer key and a CSV for your quiz tool by email.
- Ask for a version B with the same questions shuffled, a harder version, or 10 more questions on one weak area.
Tips for a better result
- Base wrong answers on real misconceptions. A distractor nobody would pick tests nothing.
- Keep options the same length and style. The longest, most detailed answer is often the right one in rushed quizzes.
- Ask for two versions with shuffled questions to cut copying in class.
- For self-study, ask your agent to send 5 questions a day on WhatsApp until the exam.
quiz generator: FAQ
- Can it make a quiz from a PDF or textbook chapter? Yes. Attach the PDF, Word file, slides or photos of pages, and your agent writes questions from that material only.
- Can I import the quiz into Google Forms or Kahoot? Your agent gives you a CSV in a common layout. Kahoot and Quizizz accept spreadsheet imports in their own template; for Google Forms you can paste questions or use an add-on that reads a sheet.
- How many questions should a quiz have? For a 15 to 20 minute class quiz, 10 to 15 multiple-choice questions is typical. A unit test is usually 25 to 40.
- Are the answers always correct? Your agent uses your material and checks facts, but read the answer key before using it in class, especially for tricky questions.
