Warsaw itinerary: Old Town, museums, parks and Praga
Warsaw rewards people who plan. Its best museums take half a day each, and the Old Town looks centuries old but was rebuilt after 1945. This prompt asks your todo.is agent for a Warsaw itinerary that balances the heavy history with parks, milk bars and Praga's old factories, in a walkable order.
The prompt
- Make a Warsaw itinerary for [NUMBER OF DAYS] days, [TRAVEL DATES], for [WHO IS TRAVELLING], staying near [AREA]. Include the Old Town and Royal Castle, the Royal Route to Łazienki Park, the Warsaw Uprising Museum, POLIN Museum, the Palace of Culture viewing terrace and a half day in Praga. Add a Chopin concert if one runs on our dates, and [EXTRA PLACES]. Group sights by area to cut transit, and say which museums need timed tickets or are closed on certain days. Suggest one milk bar and one sit-down dinner per day for [FOOD PREFERENCES]. Email me a PDF with the plan, transport tips and links. Don't book anything.
What to change
- [NUMBER OF DAYS]: E.g. "3". Three days is a good first visit; add one for a day trip.

How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and replace the brackets with your dates, group, area and extras.
- Paste it into todo.is on the Today screen, or send it to your agent on WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Your agent checks museum days and concerts and emails a PDF with links for each stop.
- Reply to change it, like "add a vodka tasting" or "swap POLIN to Friday". You buy the tickets.
Tips for a better result
- Don't stack the Uprising Museum and POLIN on one day. Both are intense and take hours.
- Visiting in summer? Plan Łazienki for a Sunday to catch the outdoor Chopin concert.
- Eat at least one lunch in a milk bar. It's cheap, quick and very Polish.
- Ask your agent to save the plan to your Google Calendar so each day's addresses open in maps.
Warsaw itinerary: FAQ
- How many days do you need in Warsaw? Two to three days covers the Old Town, the two big museums, Łazienki and Praga. Add a day for Wilanów or a day trip.
- Is the Warsaw Old Town original? No. Most of it was destroyed in 1944 and carefully rebuilt after the war, which is why it is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
- Where should I stay in Warsaw? Śródmieście (the centre) is the most convenient. Powiśle is lively near the river, and the Old Town is atmospheric but quieter at night.
- Can I do Warsaw and Kraków in one trip? Yes. Fast trains take about 2.5 hours. Ask your agent to plan both with the train between them.
