Animated logo: a short logo reveal from the logo you already have
A two-second logo reveal makes your videos, Reels and website feel finished. But AI video tools love to redraw logos and bend the letters. This prompt has your todo.is agent animate your actual logo file frame by frame, so it stays exactly right, and deliver it as MP4 and GIF in the sizes you need.
The prompt
- Animate the attached logo into a [LENGTH]-second logo reveal. Animation style: [ANIMATION STYLE]. Background: [BACKGROUND]. Keep the logo pixel-exact: build the animation from my file (fade, scale, slide, mask reveal) instead of redrawing it with AI. Hold the finished logo still for the last second. Deliver a 1920x1080 MP4 for video intros, a 1080x1920 version for Reels, and a looping GIF under [GIF SIZE] for my website. [SOUND]
What to change
- [LENGTH]: 2 to 4 seconds. Longer reveals feel slow in an intro.
- [ANIMATION STYLE]: E.g. "icon pops in, then the name slides in from the left", "letters appear one by one", "soft fade and slight zoom", "line draws in, then fills with colour".
- [BACKGROUND]: A colour like "white" or "#0E1A2B", or "the attached background image".
- [GIF SIZE]: E.g. "1 MB" for an email signature, "3 MB" for a website.
- [SOUND]: Optional: "add the attached whoosh sound at the reveal". Or delete this.
Example result
- Animated logo: Northpeak Outdoor
- From northpeak_logo.png (transparent, 2400x900) · 3 seconds · icon pops in, then the name slides in · navy #0E1A2B background
- The animation, frame by frame
- • 0.0-0.6 s: the mountain icon scales up from 0% to 108%, then settles back to 100% (a small bounce)
- • 0.6-1.4 s: "NORTHPEAK" slides in from behind the icon, left to right, with a soft mask so it appears to come out of the mountain
- • 1.4-2.0 s: the tagline "Outdoor gear" fades in below
- • 2.0-3.0 s: the full logo holds still, so it can be cut cleanly into any video
- How it was made
- • The icon and the wordmark were cut apart from your PNG with Pillow, so every pixel and letter stays exactly as in your logo
- • Each frame was drawn at 30 frames per second, then joined into video with ffmpeg
- • Ease-out motion (fast start, gentle stop) so it feels smooth, not mechanical
- Files delivered
- • northpeak_logo_reveal_1080p.mp4: 1920x1080, for YouTube intros and presentations
- • northpeak_logo_reveal_vertical.mp4: 1080x1920, logo centred, for Reels, Shorts and Stories
- • northpeak_logo_loop.gif: 600 px wide, 820 KB, loops with a 2-second pause on the full logo
- • northpeak_logo_reveal_frames.zip: the PNG frames, if your video editor prefers an image sequence
- Want a more cinematic version?
- Your agent can also try an AI-generated version (for example, the logo emerging from fog or light). It looks more dramatic, but AI video may change letters or shapes, so use it only after checking every frame closely.
- Where to use it
- • First 2 seconds of YouTube videos and webinars
- • End card of Reels and ads
- • Website loading screen or email signature (the GIF)
How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and choose the length, animation style and background.
- Attach your logo, ideally a transparent PNG or SVG, on the Today screen or in Telegram.
- Your agent sends the MP4s, the GIF and a short description of each motion.
- Ask for tweaks like "faster bounce" or "white background version" until it fits your brand.
Tips for a better result
- Send the cleanest file you have: a transparent PNG at least 1000 px wide, or an SVG. Your agent converts SVG to PNG for animating.
- Simple motion looks more professional. One movement for the icon and one for the name is usually enough.
- Keep the reveal under 3 seconds for video intros; viewers skip long intros.
- Make a short version and a 1-second "sting" for the end of Reels, so it feels consistent across all your videos.
animated logo: FAQ
- What file should I use for an animated logo? A transparent PNG or an SVG works best, because the logo can be placed on any background. A JPG works too, but it keeps its own background colour.
- Can I get a transparent animated logo? GIFs can have a transparent background, though edges may look a little rough. For video, a solid background that matches where you'll use it gives the cleanest result.
- Will AI change my logo? Not with this method: the animation is built from your own file, so the logo stays exact. Only the optional AI-generated version can alter details.
- How do I add an animated logo to my email signature? Use the small GIF. Many email apps show GIFs, but some only show the first frame, so make sure the first frame looks good too.
