Full stack developer resume that shows features shipped end to end
Full stack job posts list a long stack, and it is tempting to copy every item onto your resume. Hiring managers would rather see a few features you owned end to end. This prompt has your todo.is agent describe those features across front end, back end and database, balanced to what the job leans toward.
The prompt
- Write my full stack developer resume for [JOB POST LINK]. I am [YOUR NAME], [LOCATION], [EMAIL], [GITHUB OR PORTFOLIO]. Experience: [PASTE RESUME OR LIST ROLES, PRODUCTS AND FEATURES YOU BUILT]. My stack: [E.G. REACT, NODE/EXPRESS, POSTGRESQL, AWS]. First tell me if the post leans front end, back end or is balanced. Then write bullets that each describe one feature end to end: the UI, the API or service, the data model, and the result (users, revenue, speed, fewer support tickets). Include testing, CI/CD and cloud only where I used them. Add a Projects section with 1 or 2 deployed apps. One page, ATS-friendly, Word file.
What to change
- [JOB POST LINK]: The job link or description.
- [YOUR NAME]: Your full name.
- [LOCATION]: City or "remote".
- [EMAIL]: Your email.
- [GITHUB OR PORTFOLIO]: GitHub profile and a live project link.
- [PASTE RESUME OR LIST ROLES, PRODUCTS AND FEATURES YOU BUILT]: Paste or attach your resume. Bootcamp or side projects count.
- [E.G. REACT, NODE/EXPRESS, POSTGRESQL, AWS]: Your main front end, back end, database and hosting tools.

How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and change the [brackets] to your stack, links and experience.
- Paste it in todo.is on the Today screen or send it to your agent on WhatsApp, Telegram or Discord.
- Your agent reads the post, decides which side to lead with and writes the resume as a Word file.
- Ask for a front-end-heavy or back-end-heavy version for other jobs.
Tips for a better result
- Write bullets around features, not layers: "built online check-in (React, Node, PostgreSQL)" shows ownership.
- Group skills by layer so a reviewer sees your depth on each side in seconds.
- Deploy at least one project with a real database and auth. A live URL beats a list of tutorials.
- Career changers from bootcamps: list your previous field briefly; domain knowledge (health, finance) is a plus.
full stack developer resume: FAQ
- How do I show I am really full stack? Describe 2 to 4 features you built across the UI, API and database, with the result. Group your skills by layer.
- Should I list every framework I have touched? No. List the ones you could build with tomorrow. Too many items make it harder to see your strengths.
- Is a bootcamp enough for a full stack resume? It can be, with deployed projects, clean code on GitHub and any freelance or volunteer work. Put projects above education.
- Can my agent check my GitHub? Yes. Give it your profile link and ask which repos to pin and what to add to their READMEs.
