Journal prompts written for you, one a day
A blank page is the hardest part of journaling. This prompt has your todo.is agent write 30 days of journal prompts around what you want to work on, in the order that builds on itself, and send you one each evening so you don't have to choose.
The prompt
- Write me 30 days of journal prompts focused on [FOCUS]. I'm in this situation: [WHAT'S GOING ON]. I have about [TIME PER SESSION] per session and prefer [STYLE]. Order them so they go from easy to deeper, with a short reflection prompt every 7th day to look back at the week. Mix questions, finish-the-sentence prompts and small lists. Give me a printable PDF journal with space to write under each prompt. Then send me that day's prompt on [CHAT APP] every evening at [TIME].
What to change
- [FOCUS]: E.g. "gratitude", "managing anxiety", "self-discovery", "figuring out my career", "a new relationship".
- [WHAT'S GOING ON]: Optional context, e.g. "just moved to a new city and feel a bit lonely". Share only what you're comfortable with.
- [TIME PER SESSION]: E.g. "5 minutes" or "15 minutes".
- [STYLE]: E.g. "short questions", "bullet lists", "longer reflective writing".
- [CHAT APP]: WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, or email.
- [TIME]: E.g. "21:30".

Tips for a better result
- Write by hand if you can; many people find it slower and more reflective than typing.
- Set a timer for 5 minutes. Short and regular beats long and rare.
- There are no wrong answers. Lists and fragments count.
- Journaling helps many people, but it's not a substitute for therapy. If you're struggling, talk to a doctor or a mental health professional.
journal prompts: FAQ
- What should I write in a journal? Anything that helps you reflect: what happened, how you felt, what you're grateful for, what you want next. Prompts give you a starting point.
- How long should I journal each day? Five to fifteen minutes is enough for most people. Consistency matters more than length.
- Are journal prompts good for anxiety? Many people find writing worries down helps them feel calmer. For ongoing anxiety, also speak to a doctor or therapist.
- Is my journal private? Prompts are sent to you; your written answers stay on paper or wherever you keep them. If you reply to your agent, it stays in your own agent workspace.
