A daily English lesson on WhatsApp, in 10 minutes a day
Long courses get abandoned in week two. A short lesson that arrives on your phone every morning is easier to keep. With this prompt your todo.is agent sends a 10-minute English lesson on WhatsApp each day, follows a weekly theme, checks your answers and reviews your mistakes every Friday.
The prompt
- Send me a daily English lesson on WhatsApp every [DAYS] at [TIME]. My level is [YOUR LEVEL] and my goal is [YOUR GOAL]. Each lesson should take about 10 minutes: one useful phrase or idiom with 2 example sentences, one short grammar point explained simply, a voice note of a short dialogue using both, and a 3-question quiz. Wait for my answers, correct them, and explain any mistake in one line. Follow a weekly theme (for example meetings, travel, small talk) and tell me the theme on Monday. On Friday, send a review quiz with 5 questions from the week, mostly on the things I got wrong. If I skip a day, do not send two lessons the next day; just continue.
What to change
- [DAYS]: E.g. "Monday to Friday" or "every day".
- [TIME]: Pick a time you are usually free, e.g. "7:15" or "12:30".
- [YOUR LEVEL]: E.g. "A2", "B1", "intermediate" or "I don’t know" (your agent will ask 5 placement questions first).
- [YOUR GOAL]: E.g. "speak more confidently at work", "travel", "pass the B2 exam", "help my kids with homework".

How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and fill in your days, time, level and goal.
- Send it to your todo.is agent on WhatsApp. It sets up the recurring lesson and confirms the schedule.
- Each morning, read the lesson, play the voice note and reply with your quiz answers.
- Change anything by message: "move lessons to 21:00", "make them harder" or "pause until Monday".
Tips for a better result
- Reply to the quiz the same day, even with guesses. The Friday review is built from your mistakes.
- Say the dialogue out loud with the voice note. Ten seconds of speaking every day adds up.
- Ask for themes from your real week, like "next week I have a job interview" or "we are going to London".
- Each scheduled lesson uses a few AI credits; a short daily lesson keeps that small.
daily English lesson on WhatsApp: FAQ

- Is it good for complete beginners? Yes. Your agent starts with basic phrases, adds translations in your language if you ask, and keeps the voice notes slow.
- What happens if I miss a lesson? Nothing. The next one arrives on schedule, and you can ask for yesterday’s lesson again at any time.
