Government tender alerts filtered for your business
Public tenders appear on many portals, often with vague titles, and the good ones close fast. Your todo.is agent checks the procurement portals you choose every day, reads each new notice, keeps only those that fit your services, size and region, and messages you with the deadline and what you would need to bid.
The prompt
- Set up government tender alerts for my business. We provide [YOUR SERVICES] and can take contracts worth [CONTRACT SIZE] in [REGIONS]. Check these public procurement portals: [PORTALS]. Every weekday at [TIME], look for new tenders and notices published since the last check. Keep only those that match our work, using these keywords and codes: [KEYWORDS OR CPV CODES]. For each give the title, buyer, estimated value, submission deadline, link, a 3-line summary of the scope, and key requirements (certifications, turnover, references). Mark anything closing within 10 days as urgent. Send it on [WHERE TO SEND IT] and don't message me if there's nothing new. Keep all tenders in an Excel file.

How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and fill in your services, contract size, regions, portals and keywords.
- Send it in todo.is. Your agent sets up the weekday check as a recurring to-do.
- Each morning you get only new matching tenders with deadlines and requirements, plus the updated tracker.
- Reply "read the documents for tender 1" and attach or link them to get a bid checklist and summary.
Tips for a better result
- Use both keywords and classification codes. Buyers often use odd titles, but codes are more consistent.
- Watch clarification deadlines, not just submission deadlines. They come much earlier.
- Start with smaller contracts to build public-sector references for bigger frameworks.
- Keep your certificates and insurance documents ready so you can bid in days, not weeks.
government tender alerts: FAQ
- Where are government tenders published? Most countries publish them on a national public procurement portal, and larger contracts in the EU also appear on the EU tenders site. Regions, cities and agencies may have their own portals too.
- What are CPV codes? Common Procurement Vocabulary codes classify what a tender is buying in EU procurement. Searching by code catches tenders with unclear titles.
- Can the agent read tender documents? Yes. If the documents are public or you attach them, your agent can summarize the scope, list requirements and make a bid checklist.
- Does it submit bids? No. Your agent finds, filters and summarizes tenders. You prepare and submit the bid on the portal yourself.
