Image to PDF converter for any mix of photos and formats
You have a folder of pictures from different places: iPhone HEIC photos, WebP images saved from websites, PNG screenshots and old scans. Your todo.is agent reads every format, converts them and lays them out in one PDF, one per page or in a grid, ready to print, send or archive.
The prompt
- Make one PDF from the attached images: [ATTACH THE IMAGES]. They may be different formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, TIFF, GIF); convert them all. Layout: [LAYOUT]. Page size [PAGE SIZE], portrait or landscape to suit each image. Add [TITLE PAGE]. Under each image put [CAPTION]. Keep the quality good for [USE]. Then list any image that was too small or blurry to look good.
What to change
- [ATTACH THE IMAGES]: Attach any mix of image files, or a ZIP of a folder.
- [LAYOUT]: E.g. "one image per page", "2 per page" or "a 3 × 3 contact sheet".
- [PAGE SIZE]: E.g. "A4", "Letter" or "A5 booklet".
- [TITLE PAGE]: E.g. "a title page saying Site Visit, Unit 4, 6 October" or "no title page".
- [CAPTION]: E.g. "the file name", "the date the photo was taken", or "nothing".
- [USE]: E.g. "printing", "emailing" or "archiving".
Example result
- Image to PDF: Site visit, Unit 4
- 23 images · 4 formats · 12 A4 pages · 2 per page · 7.9 MB
- What came in
- • 14 × HEIC (iPhone photos)
- • 5 × JPG (from a colleague's Android phone)
- • 3 × PNG (screenshots of the floor plan app)
- • 1 × WebP (product photo saved from the supplier site)
- How the PDF is laid out
- • Page 1: title page "Site Visit, Unit 4, 6 October" with the photo count
- • Pages 2 to 12: two images per page, stacked, each scaled to fit with the same margins
- • Captions: the date and time each photo was taken, read from the photo data (for example "6 Oct 2026, 10:42"). Screenshots without a date use the file name
- • Rotation: phone photos were turned upright using their orientation tag, so none are sideways
- Quality
- • Photos kept at 200 dpi on the page: sharp when printed, light enough to email
- • Colour HEIC photos converted without washing out
- • Flagged: IMG_2290.jpg is only 480 × 360 px. It looks soft at half-page size; a bigger original would help
- Handy next steps
- • "Make it searchable" adds OCR text to pages with signs or labels
- • "Split it by room" makes one PDF per area if you give the photo groups
How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt, then pick the layout, page size, title page and captions.
- Attach all the images (or a ZIP) in todo.is, or send them to your agent on Telegram or WhatsApp.
- Your agent converts every format and builds the PDF with your layout.
- Ask for another layout anytime: "4 per page", "landscape" or "remove page 7".
Tips for a better result
- Send a ZIP for more than 20 images. It keeps file names and order, and it is quicker than many single uploads.
- Photo dates make good captions for site visits, damage reports and travel albums. Your agent reads them from the photo data.
- A contact sheet (9 per page) is the quickest way to review lots of photos on paper.
- For insurance or claims, ask for the original photos in a ZIP alongside the PDF.
image to PDF converter: FAQ
- Which image formats can I convert to PDF? JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, TIFF, GIF and BMP all work, and you can mix them in one PDF.
- Can I put more than one image on a page? Yes. Ask for 2, 4 or 9 per page, with or without captions.
- Will iPhone HEIC photos look right? Yes. Your agent converts HEIC and keeps the colours and orientation.
- Is there a limit on how many images? Each upload can be up to 50 MB. For very large sets, send a ZIP or a few batches.
