Birthday reminders that come with a gift idea and a message
Remembering a birthday on the day is often too late to send a gift. This prompt gives your todo.is agent your list of birthdays, then sends you a heads-up a week before with 3 gift ideas that fit the person, and a reminder on the morning itself with a short, warm message you can copy.
The prompt
- Here are the birthdays I want to remember: [NAMES, DATES AND A FEW WORDS ABOUT EACH PERSON]. For each one, message me on [WHATSAPP, TELEGRAM OR EMAIL] [HOW MANY DAYS BEFORE] with 3 gift ideas that fit what I told you about them, within [GIFT BUDGET], with links to where to buy them. Then message me at 8:00 on the birthday with a short, warm message I can send, in my own casual style. Remember the list every year. Also save each birthday as a yearly all-day event in my Google Calendar if it is connected. Start by sending me the list sorted by date so I can check it.

- [WHATSAPP, TELEGRAM OR EMAIL]: Where you want the reminders.
- [HOW MANY DAYS BEFORE]: e.g. "7 days before" so a gift can arrive in time. Use 10 to 14 days for people abroad.
- [GIFT BUDGET]: e.g. "$40" or "30 euros for friends, 80 for family".

Tips for a better result
- A few words about each person make the gift ideas much better. "Loves hiking and coffee" beats just a name and date.
- Use a longer lead time for gifts that ship from abroad or for cards sent by post.
- Export birthdays from your contacts or Facebook to a CSV and attach it, so you do not type them all by hand.
- Tell your agent what you gave last year. It will remember and avoid suggesting the same thing.
