Find remote jobs that really hire from where you live
Many "remote" listings only hire in one country or need you online at 3 a.m. your time. Your todo.is agent searches remote job boards and company career pages, reads each posting for location and time-zone rules, drops the ones you can't take and sends a short daily list that matches your skills.
The prompt
- Find remote jobs for me. I'm a [YOUR ROLE AND LEVEL] living in [COUNTRY AND TIME ZONE]. My key skills: [KEY SKILLS]. Search remote job boards and company career pages. Only keep jobs that say they hire in my country or worldwide, and whose working hours overlap with mine by at least [OVERLAP HOURS] hours. Skip anything that asks for payment, looks like a scam or has no real company website. For each job give the title, company, link, salary if listed, location rules, time zone, posted date and a one-line fit score. Every weekday at [TIME], send me only new jobs on [WHERE TO SEND IT], best fit first. Keep a running Excel list of every job you've sent.
What to change

- [COUNTRY AND TIME ZONE]: e.g. "Portugal, UTC+0" or "Philippines, UTC+8".
- [KEY SKILLS]: e.g. "Zendesk, English and Spanish, SaaS support".
- [OVERLAP HOURS]: e.g. "4". How many hours you need in common with the team.

- Watch out
- One posting asked for a "training fee" before the interview. I left it out. Real employers don't charge you to apply.
- Your tracker
- 38 jobs sent so far, all in the Excel file with status columns you can fill in (applied, interview, no reply).
- I don't apply for you. Want a tailored cover letter for Kitewise?
How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and fill in your role, country and time zone, skills and when you want the list.
- Send it in todo.is or on WhatsApp. Your agent sets it up as a weekday recurring to-do.
- Each morning you get only new jobs that fit your location and hours, plus the updated Excel tracker.
- Reply "cover letter for number 1" to get a tailored letter, then apply on the company's site yourself.
Tips for a better result
- Read the location line in every posting. "Remote" often means remote within one country.
- Check the time-zone overlap before applying. It is a common reason remote candidates get rejected late.
- Company career pages often list remote roles before job boards do. Give your agent a list of companies you like.
- Never pay to apply or for "training" before you're hired. That's a classic remote job scam.
find remote jobs: FAQ
- Where can I find legit remote jobs? Remote-focused job boards, general job sites with a remote filter, and the career pages of companies known for remote work. Check that the company has a real website and that the job lists hiring locations.
- Why do remote jobs say US only? Employers often need to follow tax, payroll and employment laws where you live. Many only set that up in a few countries.
- Does todo.is apply to jobs for me? No. Your agent finds and filters jobs, keeps a tracker and can write cover letters, but you apply yourself.
- How do I spot a remote job scam? Warning signs are requests for money, chat-only interviews, pay that's far above normal for the role, and no real company website or staff online.
