PowerPoint to PDF converter for slides, notes and handouts
A deck sent as .pptx can lose its fonts and animations on someone else's laptop. Send it to your todo.is agent and get a PDF that looks the same everywhere, as full slides, slides with your speaker notes, or a printable handout with several slides per page.
The prompt
- Convert the attached PowerPoint to PDF: [ATTACH THE .PPTX]. Layout: [PDF LAYOUT]. Embed the fonts, keep links clickable and keep images sharp enough to project. Skip hidden slides. [SIZE LIMIT]. Check the PDF for text that overflows a box or a font that changed, and show me which slides were affected. Name it [FILE NAME].pdf.
What to change
- [ATTACH THE .PPTX]: Attach a .pptx, .ppt or .odp file. Google Slides: download as .pptx first.
- [PDF LAYOUT]: E.g. "one slide per page", "slides with speaker notes below" or "handout, 6 slides per A4 page".
- [SIZE LIMIT]: E.g. "under 10 MB so I can email it" or "no limit, best quality".
- [FILE NAME]: E.g. "Sales_Kickoff_2026_slides".
Example result
- PowerPoint to PDF: Sales_Kickoff_2026.pptx
- 32 slides · 3 hidden slides skipped · 29 pages · 16:9 · 8.4 MB
- Versions delivered
- • Sales_Kickoff_2026_slides.pdf: one slide per page, for sharing after the meeting
- • Sales_Kickoff_2026_handout.pdf: 6 slides per A4 page with lines for notes, 5 pages, for printing
- What your agent checked
- • Fonts: the deck uses Poppins. It was embedded, so titles keep their look on any device
- • Overflow: on slide 14 the last bullet ran past the text box in the original. It shows the same in the PDF, so your agent flagged it rather than changing your slide
- • Animations: builds are flattened, so each slide shows its final state with all bullets visible
- • Videos: slide 22 had an embedded video. The PDF shows its first frame, with the video link added under it
- • Links: 9 links to the pricing page and case studies stay clickable
- File size
- The original was 64 MB because of large photos. Images were compressed to 150 dpi, which still looks sharp on a projector and laptop screens, bringing the PDF to 8.4 MB.
- Need speaker notes?
- Ask for "slides with notes" and each page shows the slide on top and your notes underneath.
How to do it with todo.is
- Pick the layout and size limit in the prompt, then attach the deck.
- Send it in the todo.is app, or forward it to your agent by email, WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Your agent exports it, checks fonts and slides and sends you the PDF (and a handout if you asked).
- Ask for another version anytime, such as "notes pages for the speaker" or "remove slides 20 to 24".
Tips for a better result
- Slides with notes is a handy way to send a deck to someone who missed the talk: they get your explanation too.
- Animations do not survive in a PDF. If a slide relies on revealing bullets one by one, ask for each build step as its own page.
- Large decks are usually large because of photos. A 150 dpi version is fine for screens; ask for full quality only for print.
- Ask your agent to email the PDF to the attendees after you approve the message.
PowerPoint to PDF converter: FAQ
- Does a PDF keep PowerPoint animations? No. A PDF shows each slide in its final state. If you need the step-by-step reveal, ask for one page per animation step.
- Can I include speaker notes in the PDF? Yes. Ask for "slides with notes" and each page shows the slide with your notes below it.
- How do I make a PowerPoint PDF small enough to email? Compressing images is what makes the difference. Give a size limit and your agent lowers image resolution only as much as needed.
- What happens to videos in my slides? The PDF shows a still frame. Your agent can add the video link under it, or send the video separately.
