A website screenshot tool for full pages, many links and both screen sizes
Whether you are archiving a launch, sending design feedback or keeping proof of what a page said on a given day, taking screenshots one by one is slow. This to-do has your todo.is agent open each link in a browser, capture full-page PNGs at desktop and phone sizes, label them and send them as one bundle.
The prompt
- Take screenshots of these pages: [PAGE LINKS]. For each page, capture a full-page screenshot (the whole scrolling page, not just the top) at [SCREEN SIZES]. Wait for images and fonts to load, close cookie banners and pop-ups if possible, and note it if a pop-up could not be closed. Name each file like site_page_desktop_YYYY-MM-DD.png. Also make one PDF with all screenshots, each with the page URL and capture time printed above it. Send me a zip with the PNGs and the PDF [WHERE TO SEND IT]. [HOW OFTEN].
What to change
- [PAGE LINKS]: One or more public links, e.g. your homepage, pricing page and a competitor's landing page.
- [SCREEN SIZES]: e.g. "desktop 1440 px wide and mobile 390 px wide", or just "desktop".
- [WHERE TO SEND IT]: e.g. "by email" or "here in the chat". Email attachments go up to 20 MB in total.
- [HOW OFTEN]: e.g. "Just once" or "Repeat every Monday at 9:00 so I have a weekly archive".
Example result
- Screenshots_2026-10-08.zip
- Files
- • northpeak_home_desktop_2026-10-08.png (1440 x 6120 px)
- • northpeak_home_mobile_2026-10-08.png (390 x 9840 px)
- • northpeak_pricing_desktop_2026-10-08.png (1440 x 3980 px)
- • northpeak_pricing_mobile_2026-10-08.png (390 x 7210 px)
- • northpeak_blog_desktop_2026-10-08.png (1440 x 5200 px)
- • northpeak_blog_mobile_2026-10-08.png (390 x 8800 px)
- • rival_landing_desktop_2026-10-08.png (1440 x 4400 px)
- • rival_landing_mobile_2026-10-08.png (390 x 7600 px)
- • northpeak_contact_desktop_2026-10-08.png (1440 x 2100 px)
- • northpeak_contact_mobile_2026-10-08.png (390 x 3300 px)
- • All_Screenshots.pdf (10 pages, URL and time above each image)
- Capture notes
- • Waited for the page to finish loading and scrolled once to the bottom so lazy-loaded images appear
- • Cookie banner closed on all northpeak pages with "Reject all"
- • The rival landing page shows a newsletter pop-up after 5 seconds. It could not be closed without signing up, so it is visible on the mobile capture
- • The pricing page has a monthly/yearly switch. The default (monthly) was captured. Ask if you want both
- Quick things I noticed
- • On mobile, the pricing table is wider than the screen and needs side scrolling
- • The blog page footer shows "© 2024", which looks out of date
- File sizes: 14.2 MB in total, sent by email. Reply "repeat weekly" to get a dated set every Monday.
How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt, add the links and choose desktop, mobile or both.
- Paste it into todo.is on the Today screen, or send it to your agent on WhatsApp.
- Your agent opens each page in a cloud browser and captures the full scrolling page.
- Download the zip or open the email. Make it recurring if you want a dated archive.
Tips for a better result
- Full-page captures of long pages get very tall. Ask for "top of page only (first screen)" if you just need the hero.
- For pages behind your login, connect your own Chrome with the todo.is Connector so your agent sees what you see.
- Ask for both states of tabs, toggles or menus ("also capture the yearly pricing tab") if they matter.
- For legal proof, keep the PDF with URL and time stamps, and save the files somewhere safe.
website screenshot tool: FAQ
- How do I take a full-page screenshot of a website? Ask your agent for a "full-page screenshot" of the link. It scrolls the whole page in a browser and saves one tall PNG.
- Can it take screenshots of many URLs at once? Yes. Paste a list of links or attach a CSV with one URL per row, and you get one file per page plus a combined PDF.
- Can I get JPG or PDF instead of PNG? Yes. PNG keeps text sharp, JPG makes smaller files, and PDF is easy to share or print. Just say which.
- Will the screenshot show pop-ups and cookie banners? Your agent tries to close them first. If one can't be closed without signing up, it tells you which page still shows it.
