Build a press kit journalists can use in five minutes
When a journalist or podcast host wants to cover you, they need facts, a short description, bios and good images fast. Without a press kit, they guess or move on. This prompt has your todo.is agent pull everything from your website and notes into a clean press kit PDF, and optionally a simple press page with a public link.

Use only facts I gave or that are on my site, and mark anything unsure with CHECK. Deliver a designed 4 to 6 page PDF using my brand colors [BRAND COLORS], a Word version, and [WEB PAGE OPTION].

Tips for a better result
- Lead with the boilerplate. Journalists often copy it word for word, so make it accurate and current.
- Give story angles, not just facts. They show a journalist why your story matters to their readers.
- Include images in several sizes with clear credit lines. Missing photos are a common reason coverage stalls.
- Ask your agent to update the fact sheet every quarter as a recurring to-do so numbers never go stale.
press kit: FAQ
- What should a press kit include? A short company description, boilerplate, fact sheet, founder bios, key images and logos, past coverage and a media contact. Story angles and quotes make it even easier to use.
- Should a press kit be a PDF or a web page? Both work. A web page is easy to link and update, while a PDF is handy to attach to emails. Many companies have a press page with a downloadable PDF.
- What is the difference between a press kit and a press release? A press release announces one piece of news. A press kit is a lasting set of background facts and assets about your company that supports any story.
