A flyer maker that turns your offer into a printable flyer
Whether it is a yard sale, a new class or a cleaning service, a flyer has seconds to get its point across. Paste this prompt and your todo.is agent writes a short headline, designs the flyer around one clear message, places your details as exact text and gives you a print PDF plus a version to share online.
The prompt
- Make a flyer for [WHAT YOU ARE PROMOTING]. The main message: [HEADLINE OR OFFER]. Include these details: [DETAILS]. Call to action: [CALL TO ACTION]. Style: [STYLE AND COLOURS]. Size: [SIZE]. Use an AI image for the background or illustration only, and add every word as real text so it is spelled exactly. Keep one clear headline, at most 40 words in total, and leave a margin for printing. Deliver a PNG and a print-ready PDF, plus a 4:5 version for Instagram and Facebook.
What to change
- [WHAT YOU ARE PROMOTING]: E.g. "a beginner pottery class", "my house cleaning service", "a community yard sale".
- [HEADLINE OR OFFER]: The one thing people should remember, e.g. "First clean 20% off" or "Learn pottery in 4 Saturdays".
- [DETAILS]: Date, place, price, what is included. Keep it to 3 or 4 short lines.
- [CALL TO ACTION]: E.g. "Call or text 555-0142", "Book at clayroom.example", "Scan the QR code".
- [STYLE AND COLOURS]: E.g. "friendly hand-drawn, terracotta and cream", "clean corporate blue", or "match my attached logo".
- [SIZE]: "A5", "A4", "US letter", or "half letter 5.5 x 8.5 in".

How to do it with todo.is
- Copy the prompt and replace the brackets with your offer, details, call to action, style and size.
- Paste it into todo.is, attaching your logo or a photo if you want them on the flyer.
- Your agent sends a print PDF, a PNG and a social version to download.
- Ask for edits in plain words ("make the price bigger", "swap the picture for a photo of my van") until it is right.
Tips for a better result
- Write the headline as a benefit, not a label: "Spotless home by Friday" beats "Cleaning Services".
- Put a deadline or limited spots in the details. Flyers without a reason to act now get ignored.
- Ask for two headline versions on the same design and test which one brings more calls.
- For letterbox drops, ask your agent for a double-sided version with prices or a map on the back.
flyer maker: FAQ
- What size should a flyer be? A5 (148 x 210 mm) and half letter (5.5 x 8.5 in) are the most common for handouts. A4 or US letter suit noticeboards and shop windows.
- How much text should a flyer have? As little as possible: a headline, three or four details and one call to action. Around 30 to 40 words reads well at a glance.
- Can the flyer include a QR code? Yes. Give your agent the link and it adds a scannable QR code. Test it with your phone before printing.
- Can I make a flyer in another language? Yes. Write the details in any language, or ask for the same flyer in two languages side by side or as two versions.
